Optomap retinal imaging technology allows your doctor to get an ultrawide, detailed view of the back of your eye, called the retina.
Your retina is the only place blood vessels can be seen clearly and directly. This visibility allows your eye doctor to check for signs of other diseases such as heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes, along with vision-related conditions.
Optomap imaging is a fast, painless, and comfortable process that allows for a 200-degree ultra-widefield angle to capture most of the retina in a single image.

Optomap Retinal Imaging is an essential part of every eye exam we complete at Insights Optical. By taking a high-definition photo of the back of your eye, called the retina, we can gain valuable information about your health.
